My Inner Californian

Do you want to know how I get a fix for my Inner-Californian? I go to the web cam of one of my favorite spots on earth. The deck at Nepenthe in Big Sur California. We visited last year and it was one of my favorite earth experiences....having a delicious breakfast overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I was taken aback by the beauty...the smells of the dense forest and the lovely assortment of people we met and observed. They have a web cam, so anytime I can see what my view would be if I was able to drop by for a bite to eat. See for yourself...oh, foggy today.

At the same stop is the Phoenix gift shop and gallery. Very unique items and come to find out, owned by Kaffe Fassett's mother. I have admired Kaffe's work in textile design and quilts for sometime and it wasn't until I returned to Minnesota that I found out about his connection to one of my favorite places on earth.
